I would like to invite you to join some of the world’s top experts and other leading innovators in the field of tropical medicine at “The 7th Seminar on Food- and Water-Borne Parasitic Zoonoses (FBPZ7) and Joint International Tropical Medicine Meeting 2012 (JITMM2012).”
In cooperation with the SEAMEO TROPMED Network, the Parasitology and Tropical Medicine Association of Thailand, and the TROPMED Alumni Association, The Faculty of Tropical Medicine of Mahidol University will be holding this international conference on December 12-14, at the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld.
The theme of this year’s JITMM is “Emergence of Tropical Diseases: trans-disciplinarystrategies”, and aims to address the need for a globalized, multi-disciplinary approach to solving current tropical health problems.

Every year, The Meeting welcomes leaders of all disciplines of tropical medicine and tropical health from every corner of the globe. This must-attend event has previously included participants from over 30 different countries. Sessions will cover the latest debated issues and include recent updates on communicable and non-communicable diseases prevalent in the Tropics, the impact of the global economic recession on population health in this region, ways of managing tropical health using an multi-disciplinary approach, as well as travel medicine and the impact of travel on the potentially lightning-fast transmission of dangerous communicable diseases.
